This is Menke JE by Goffert and my star mare Kira (Sierk x Naen). Menke is a yearling now and at his new home.

His family has thoughtfully installed a shower for him for these hot summer days. I am told that he takes full advantage of it.

I have recently become a member and would love to share some pics of Reiden, he is a 4yr old gelding. He is the first Friesian I have been graced with. He is a wonderful, handsome young man, then again I am a little biased. He has so much personality and is so playful. I can not keep him out of my back pocket and he is a dream to ride. I am looking forward to the inspection in September, he is entered and I hope that he does well however, this is more of an opportunity for me to learn more and meet more "Friesian people".

Just wanted to share some pics with you from this past weekend. This is Marc Edwards riding my gelding, Night Hawk. Marc and his wife, Cathie own a Friesian filly named Mezaluna - they are members of FHASE. Cathie emailed me a few weeks ago and planned this surprise outing for Marc to commemorate a big birthday this year! This was the first time he and Cathie have ridden a Friesian! Cathie has named these photos - Friesian Surprise. We had a nice ride at the Georgia International Horse Park and I was thrilled to be part of the surprise! Kim Osborne

The above photos are of Teake and I at our first dressage show. The Annual Cedar Ridge Farm Halloween Show includes a costume class. Teake was awesome and we had a great time. Teake is boarded next door to our home at The Irish Oaks Equestrian Center, near Columbia, SC. Teake is truly a special horse and is lavished with love and attention by from everyone at the barn. Teake seems to love the children at Irish Oaks and they all enjoy taking a turn riding him. Pictured below is one of Teake’s admirers Kendall, a petite 8 year old weighing only 53 pounds. She looks tiny on the back of this gentle giant but rides him very well, as do many of the other children.

My name is Elison McAllaster, and I live in Savannah, Ga. I'm a new member of FHASE, and am the proud owner of a beautiful 10 yr old, 16.1 H Star Friesian mare, Raven. She has had two foals, & I'm loving working with her getting her back into shape. We're doing Training Level dressage, and hope to compete in a USDF show soon.

I LOVE this breed. I've had Quarter horses, Paints, a Thoroughbred, and an Anglo/Hanoverian cross, & this breed is definitely the BEST ! I love to ride her with that floaty movement, and her mind and sweet disposition have me sold -- I'll never own another breed of horse!

this is Deb Corson in Chattanooga, a new FHASE member. Attached are pictures of my gelding, Cobus fan Koldyk, who made ster gelding and champion gelding at the Harriman Tennesse keuring this fall. He is Krist X Diedert. He had been to his foal keuring in 2000 and was a second premie then but had not been back for his adult keuring. He came to live with me two years ago. He was a second premie ster at the keuring. I show him in driving classes thruout the southeast and he is a multiple champion driving horse now, even though he had never been in the show ring before. He was imported from Holland in 2006.

I have a beautiful 18hd gelding...he was only 15'3 when I purchased him and he kept growing....I found Dabba in the Nethersland as a 11 month old and had him flown over and now he is the size I need since I am 4'11"...so my 6'5" husband now rides Bond the 18hd and I ride my stallion who is now 15.2 hds.....
