     October 2011 - FHASE is pleased to announce a clinic with Clay Maier at Dark Knight Stables in Landrum, SC.  Please see the attached flyer for more information.  

     September 2011 - The keurings in NC and FL were a big success again.  Thank you to the hosts, participants and volunteers for making our Black Pearls shine.  Results have been posted.

     July 2011 - Among all the foals born to our members, FHASE is especially pleased to introduce Loje owned by Patti Derickson of Brooksville, FL.  Patti and her mare Jette were the winners of the Lolke 371 Sport breeding auction last year. We would like to thank John Howard one more time for graciously donating this breeding to the benefit of FHASE.

    May 2011 - FHASE will be sponsoring the Ron Steur Clinic on June 18, 2011 in Statesville, NC.  The clinic will cover dressage lessons, basic nutrition, care, and grooming specific to Friesians, along with keuring preparation and long lining.  Please contact Melissa Guerra melissa.bhf@gmail.com

     May 2011 - May 21 marked another enjoyable FHASE Annual Meeting.  On behalf of everyone who attended I’d like to thank Bobbi Fenderson for hosting the meeting as well as thank her for her dedication and leadership as president of FHASE over the past 7 years.  During the meeting we voted in a new board: President - Nadine Kothe of Naples, FL; VP - Michelle Sumner of Travelers Rest, SC; Treasurer - Jenni Radtke of Cleveland, NC; Secretary - Mary King of Chuluota, FL. The board is looking forward to an exciting year - with several clinics in the works.
