A Note from our FHASE president:
Jerry and I reflected on our way home about what a great chemistry our
club and group has.
I hope that each of you realizes how very important you are
to FHASE but more importantly, to me!
This Keuring, even with some last minute things that could
have crippled it, was a HUGE success!
Many people came to me ( and I hope to each of you) and said
"what a class act, it couldn't have been any better, you
people certainly know how to run a great Keuring."
All I can say is that it could never be done without the
unselfish, untiring assistance each of you put into this
outcome!!
Martina, for all the behind the scenes things you do to line
up the site, design and stock our FHASE store (and this year
even man it!)
For your bravery of coming in spite of your own health
issues and providing the yummy pork for our cookout.
Mike for the "sexy" announcing voice, your smile when we all
look like we are running around crazy and for keeping that
wife of yours from further "hurt"!
Marlene, for how you can jump in and pick up the ball after
Martina's mishap, providing food for breakfast, soda and
waters for participants, helping to set up, clean up, and
then running the gate with such precision.
Jim for your help on the gates and anywhere else we asked
you to jump in, especially for all the lugging, picking up,
moving stuff and organizing with us and for the lovely
original shirt you arrived in. (Hope you trashed that one)
Teri Koper for all your help with the breakfast and other
duties you did throughout the Keuring to ease the work load
on the rest of us. You are always there with a smile that
is invaluable!
Nadine for the chauffeuring of the judges, making them feel
very special, handling the duties Martina usually does
inside the ring with the judges and doing the chipping
paperwork so aptly and of course for snuggling Suzie in bed
Thursday nite!
Beanie for your help with just everything, as usual! For
anticipating my needs here and there and just being there.
For the grooming, heading, managing of the horses and then
for the all around help with set up, break down, the whole
ball of wax.
Wayne, the same for you. Just being there for support,
running to get this, take that, drive this and that, set up,
clean up, as usual you help keep us all sane.
Charlotte, for your help with the a.m. coffee, that was a
big thing to give us an extra little sleep time! You were a
great help!
My wonderful husband, Jerry, for all you did to support me,
keep the dogs safe and happy, help with horses, set up and
break down and for all you did to help me not be stressed
out.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this event couldn't
possibly be pulled off without the unselfish giving that
each of you does so willingly.
It has never been more true that many hands make for light
work.
A job well done, Thanks so much.
Bobbi
